Step-by-step

Step 1

Each user can choose reminder, follow-up, and visit-change notifications from their profile.

✓ Keep in-app notifications enabled for important clinic work.

✓ Doctors receive visit change notifications only when another user changes their visit.

✓ Reception and clinic admins can receive reminders and follow-ups for all visits when selected.

Step 2

Telegram requires the user to open the bot from profile and press Start. After that, notifications can be delivered outside the web app.

✓ Open profile and click Connect Telegram.

✓ Press Start in Telegram.

✓ Return to profile and confirm that connected time is shown.

Step 3

A scheduler checks due reminders and follow-ups. Times are based on the clinic timezone, so clinic timezone must be correct.

✓ Reminder time controls visit reminder notifications.

✓ Follow-up time controls follow-up notifications.

✓ If a notification does not arrive, check user preferences and Telegram connection first.

Common mistakes

Checking Telegram notifications without connecting the bot does not deliver messages.

Wrong clinic timezone can make notifications appear early or late.

A doctor changing their own visit should not trigger a visit-change notification to themselves.
